Bridges are falling like pack of cards in Bihar.
PPNN- Three more bridges, two in Siwan and one in Saran fell in last 24 hours. The happening are bizarre as 9 bridges have fallen in last 15 days.
Bihar Rural works department minister Ashok Choudhary has set up a 3 member committee to examine the causes.
These are colonial era bridges who were having very least traffic, but these sudden spurt in falls has alarmed the Bihar CM. He has directed the public works department to have a closer look on all the old bridges and report back the state of these old bridges.
MVA will Continue- Uddhav Thakarey.But the tussle is for the CM face
PPNN-After a stellar performance in the recently concluded Lok Sabha polls, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday hinted that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance will continue in the upcoming Assembly polls in Maharashtra.
But one thing that is bothering him is that Sharad Pawar has not accepted his candidature for the CM post. As per the senior Pawar, the alliance will fight the elections jointly and CM face will come through a consensus.

PPNN- In last few weeks, the collapse of bridges in Bihar was a major embarrassment for Nitish Kumar led Bihar government.
Rampant corruption and official negligence are the root causes for this.
Realizing the gravity of the Situation , CM Nitish Kumar has become active in enforcing Governance across all the departments of Bihar Government.
As heavy rains lashed Bihar and it's infamous rivers began to swell, the CM have started focusing on the rural road infrastructure and key Highways.
He recently inaugurated the J.P Gangapath from Gaygath to Kanganghat. This road is meant to ease the transit from Patna East and West. This has also made the connectivity between North and South Bihar easy.
In the land revenue sector, Kumar is focusing on making land revenue Survey and related disputes easier to handle. He gave appointment letters to 9,888 candidates for the post of Survey officers of different ranks.
